The Games will take place in two locations: the Coastal Cluster and the Mountain Cluster.

The Coastal Cluster includes 6 venues whose central focus is the Games Park. It will connect all of the venues in the Coastal Cluster, making it the first time in history that all ice arenas will be within walking distance of one another. When it is full, the Park will be able to hold around 70,000 visitors.

The Mountain Cluster includes 5 venues for all of the outdoor sporting events. This is located on Krasnaya Polyana, which is part of the Caucasus Mountains.

Coastal Cluster

• Central Stadium: opening and closing ceremonies; medal ceremonies
• Bolshoi Ice Palace: ice hockey
• Maly Ice Palace: ice hockey and ice sledge hockey
• Curling Centre: curling and wheelchair curling
• Skating Centre: figure skating and short track speed skating
• Sochi Oval: speed skating

Mountain Cluster

• Biathlon and Ski Complex: biathlon and ski races
• Rosa Khutor Alpine Resort: Alpine skiing
• Russian National Ski Jumping Centre: ski jumping and Nordic combined
• Russian National Sliding Centre: luge, bobsleigh, and skeleton events
• Rosa Khutor Freestyle Skiing Centre and the Snowboard Park: freestyle skiing and snowboarding
